Come join us for this fundraiser that taste so good. We are Bacon America Great Again and we need your vote. This is a fundraiser for our Local Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House. Baconfield is here and here to stay. For the love of bacon, come join the fun at Bacon-Fest on Saturday, October, 15th 2016! 2pm. If you love (or even like) bacon, you will have a good time and help out a great cause at the same time. Local restaurants/ caterers will serve up samples of creative bacon dishes you could enjoy while you enjoy great entertainment provided by Alpha Media: The Groove 99.3, Energy and some live local musicians. This year’s Bacon Fest will be at Rancho Rio Equestian Center, right below the Panorama Bluffs next to Calvary Chaple. We are focusing our event on Bacon, "the duct tape of Food, because you can put it on basically anything, therefore; we changed this event to an all aged event.

Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House brings you the bring The 3rd annual Bakersfield Bacon Festival Bakersfield on October 15th 2016. This extraordinary culinary adventure will be all the fun of a bacon themed block party mixed with a full scale festival experience. Join us as dozens of the area's top restaurants, food trucks, and specialty vendors, several of the area's top bands, and thousands of the area's top bacon lovers gather to celebrate an american tradition - BACON. Also don't miss the Bacon on a Stick & Bacon Slider Booths! . This event will feature both bacon sampling and full sized bacon cuisine, bacon confectionary delights, bacon eating contests, bacon cooking demonstrations, live music from some of the area's top bands (who also love bacon), craft beer and wine sampling and bacon themed cocktails, a vendor village featuring various non-food bacon themed vendors and much more.

The Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House® is open to meet the needs of families of pediatric patients at Kern County hospitals and help reduce stress associated with having a hospitalized sick child. This is done in four ways -

¨ Provide three sleeping rooms for families who have traveled more than 25 miles from their residence for care. Each family is given their own room with an extension where they can be reached by hospital staff or family/friends;

¨ Provide a living room for target families who need a break from the “hospital environment;”

¨ Provide a place for a quick shower or nap during the day for target families who are not sleeping overnight; or

¨ Provide a resource center for families

The World Food Championships is the largest competition in food sport, where champions of previous events convene for a chance at winning the ultimate food crown and a share of $300,000. The World Food Championships platform ranges from live-event integration and acivations to a robust multimedia platform that serves culinary stars, home cooks, brands and destinations. In four short years, WFC has awarded more than $1 million in prizes and money, spawned a TV series, garnered more than 5 billion media impressions and launched numerous professional careers for successful contestants.
